Daniel mentioned sacred geometry. doing a search on sacred geometry i find this stuff

D. sent me some images, fragmented, reflected, single moving into one.

I like fragmented and reflected, wouldd be fun to work with split scan techniques.

reminds me of those lenticular objects, that look like one thing form one angle and somethign else form another angle

Like jesus crying

dont know about a grid shape. and wouldnt know what images would make sense to fragment.

shining a projector light into brushed metal of my stove. The bright point of light spreads across the brushed metal and makes a stripe

The stripe is very bright, the image has been dulled.

shining a projector light into brushed metal of my Refrigerator. It's also brushed, but with a much more matt surface. The projector light makes a less strong stripe, the image is clearer though.

This makes me think about bright points of light, which mkes me think about the "glowing soul sphere" -(what is it called?)

In other words I'm thinking about bright points of light that form and deform a "sacred" geometry.

They descend, float around, half glowing sphere and half stripe across the grain of the metal

Did some experiements trying to get AI to make me a burning a deer. Not so successful.

Not successful, but a wierd trip. The AI had trouble burning a deer. Didnt want to really do it.But no trouble showing burning humans. But Maybe there is a style here somewhere. The basic AI prompt I used tried to combine Otto Dix, Fire and Bambi

Along the way some quite horrifying images. not an image of hope....

And then a ridiculous soft-core deer-head female-body sequence arrived.

None of these successful. But I amused myself

8 Dec.

Nice conversation this mornign with Daniel about Act1

he sent me some sacred geometry pictures. some exactly like Lissijous figures.

I like that the nodes have text on them.

looks more like a constellation

Today I made my own lissijous figures

harmonic

harmonic

chaotic

chaotic

chaotic

I tried some constellation stuff too

my own constellation.

and another image that reminds me of that Japanese artist... what's his name...

ahh ja..., Rioji Ikeda

Could also experiemnt with L-Systems

--------------------------

10 DEC 2023

saw works from Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt in Hamburger Bahnhof. Typewriter works. Simple beautiful structures. Thought maybe this is a good idea f text moments.

14 DEC

worked on the split screen idea from above. started with basic masks.

Then I added images, one image in the white, one in the black

images from Gaza, too now,

Then tried repeating an image, following an idea form Daniel, wounded faces form ww1.

Is that more mythic?

Imges for Bauprobe 22 DEC

continuing my AI experiemnts. I tried to create a dense "Garden of Eden" scene.

I plugged two imags into Stable Diffusion. A Raquib Shaw for the color palette. And a bowl of spaghetti for the structure and the lines

gave in various prompts - menitoning Audubon, Otto Dix, garden of Eden, snails, exotic birds etc.

here you can really see the spaghetti

sometimes I added snails to the prompts. i like that.

for the next step I tried to combine pictures in order to get the correct apscet ratio.

which I thought was somethign like 5 : 16. (it's more like 4 x 16)

I generated more pictures with a ratio 5 : 8

then I combined them side by side to get the correct format.

I started to get wierd things. High denoising strength

Dialed it back to how I started.

30 DEC

I happened to see an exhibit of Issac Julien work in Dusseldorf

In one installation there was a floating body, very slow motion. i thought that might be good for background for the funeral scene

18 JUL 2024

many months later, although I have been working on Satyagraha I haven't been updating the Blog - lazy...

But starting again...

Been talking about images of soldiers with Daniel. also guns, armies, etc.

Not sure how to start. So Ijust collected stuff. (Note daniel mentioned it should all be pre 1948, but I didn't limit myself.

SOLDIER SAMPLER

Some quite famous photographers here: Carolyn Cole, Susan Miesalas, Don McCullin

Dont really want to steal their work... but just looking...

famous photo of a marine Don McCullin, Soldiers faces, just staring could be interesting.

another face

Action photo featuing gun.Civil War in Liberia, Carloyn Cole

another from liberia

Nicaragua Susan Miesalas

An Aerial Image

We spoke about Aerial images for the begining. Two armies gatheirng. (why just two?) seen from above. not sure how to get that.

But found this. an image of the "Highway of Death" in Iraq. Retreating iraqi Soliders slaughtered on a desert road.

The aerial view, carnage for miles

Burning

At first I just saw this an interesting mixture of fire, and symbols, only later did I see the body behind the picture

I'm sure all of this stuff is too hard, too direct... now need to think about how ot work with it.

Later 18.07.2024

put things is into our 'cinemascope' aspect ratio

with music and movement

5 AUG 2024

went to spain. studied particle sysytems...

made sense to me as a way to make lines, and fluid shapes, could be used to make water, as well as fire.

but working first on Lines. for 1.1

Responding to these images form D.

Lines Experiments

Green matrix with Line version 1

Green matrix with Line version 2

Red Line Added to the mix for Arjuna versions 1 and 2

Red and green Alone -no matrix.

Still have to figure out how to get the war snaps in...

I have been doing some more AI TESTs.

Runway ML has just come out with a new software that animates images --very wierd.

Daniel just sent me this image of a missile launch.

let's have AI animate that for me....

This image we like.

let's have AI animate that for me....

You can also transfer styles. I asked my AI to take the style of this image and apply it to the Man with Gun Video

7 Aug --tomorrow go to Hannover

Act 2 ->on the launch pad

I like the idea of the panel become a rusty old piece of scrap metal
